Full moon and bare trees...looks like the perfect Halloween morning on the farm!
Here’s the next step in the combining process. We bring the corn back to the farm and grind it. This will be used in the girls unique recipes at feeding time.

October 12th is one of our favorite days of the year. It's a day we celebrate the boots on the ground who help feed the world, a day we celebrate and thank our farmers. Happy National Farmer’s Days!
The newest addition to the Jersey family on the farm!
Around 10:30 this morning our last load of corn silage was dumped on the pile. From there we finished packing it and proceeded to cover it with tires. Up next, trying out the new combine!
If you’ve drove by the farm at all over the last few weeks you would have noticed this pile of cow chow growing! We have around 35,000 tons of feed ready for the ladies with a goal of 40,000 tons when we finish up corn next week. A huge thanks to everyone who is helping cover the majority of this massive pile today!
The clouds were quite a sight last night. The first was taken as you come down the hill and the second from the corn pile.
Thanks Eli Gilbert for the picture of our new off site manure storage. With this location we will be able to store 5 million gallons of manure.
