This is the orange jelly fungus, witch’s butter, (Tremella mesentarica). It makes a beautiful moisturizing rub for your skin. Each time we get a winter warm spell (especially one with rain) I walk the evergreen forests til I can find & pick these slimy blobs, then I rub them into my face.
