Working from home means packing and shipping discogs orders. As I prepare to haul these to the post office I can’t help but think about how essential the USPS is to our business and any record (or book) stores in the US that rely on mail order for some of their income. The miracle that is media mail is often taken for granted but I can’t even imagine how much it would cost to ship all of these fedex or ups . At a time when mail order is our ONLY source of income, the USPS is under very real threat from the death cult in charge. Texting USPS to 50409 runs a little automated questionnaire that only takes a couple of minutes and then sends letters to your elected representatives letting them know you value the US Postal Service. If you want record stores to exist on the other side of this, this is an easy way to help. #savetheusps

We miss you! We celebrated our 1 year store anniversary a few days ago and needless to say it wasn’t much of a party. That said, we’d still like to share a few updates. We’ve slowly sorted out how we can safely continue shipping out records and at this point we’re caught up and plan to be shipping at least once a week and will continue to list fresh inventory on discogs. Our discogs store is BKRecordExchange so please check it out! We may also continue posting some choice bits for direct sale on the ‘gram. Additionally we’re selling electronic gift cards redeemable as soon as we re-open. There’s a link in the bio and if you’ve read this far we’re offering a promo code for 10% off at checkout just enter STAYHOME420. Keep watching this space for more info and updates. @ Brooklyn Record Exchange NOW OPEN
