Blessings in a Backpack Oswego Chapter

Great news!! For those of you that ask how you can donate to Blessings in a Backpack, I am excited to share we are now able to accept your donations through a secure online donation. Use the QR code below and you'll be able to donate using your credit/debit card!! After going to the site, you just need to click on the "Support Mission and Outreach" folder and you'll be directed to BIB!! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Many, many, many thanks to Eric Smith for his support these past few weeks. Eric has easily dropped off over $500 worth of extra food for our BIB bellies!!! I have a feeling his latest donation will make some children very happy!!

A HUGE thank you goes out the the *Generous Hearts Fundraising Group.* They donated over 200 boxes of cereal and cases and cases of peanut butter and jelly!!! Sometimes it’s overwhelming what a thought can do - thank you for thinking of us GerryLynne Hutton Generous Hearts indeed!!!!

Help!! Last week we were able to pack extras for the long break, we had enough boxes of cereal, peanut butter, jelly, and canned tuna/chicken for the long winter break. With that packing we have depleted our stock. We will need everything for spring break and we only have 5 weeks to collect it all. FYI - Price Chopper has cereal and tuna on sale 10/10$ starting Sunday 2/14. Thank you all for your continued help in feeding hungry bellies!!... Donations can be dropped off to the Church of the Resurrection 120 West 5th St. If the tote is not outside, it will be inside the first set of doors on Cayuga St. The door will be open from 9am-12:30pm on Mondays and Tuesdays only. Bernie’s looking for the best spot to sit and wait for our next Blast Hunger Craft/Vendor Show. As we’re sure you know, we’ve had to cancel this years show in March. We hope to be back in March 2022 with 80+ baskets, a yummy luncheon, bake sale, 50/50, a room full of crafts and vendor merchandise and more!!... Stay well, stay safe!!
