Every so often I take a few hours to revisit the gemstones that are sleeping in my safe. Today, I am thinking about round Sapphires, the beauty of a simple cut is that it allows me to be creative with the design. Simplicity paired with complexity, that duality often finds a beautiful balance in a ring or earring. Coming up on year 18 in business this year!! It's wild to think I was 21 when I started my company a month after graduating from Parsons. So much learning and growing. This week I asked myself, what do I love about being a designer? The answer has changed, it started with a purity and love of self expression and has evolved into a #loveofcommunity and an exploration into big ideas like circularity and mine to market materials. In this picture I am holdin...g the Reflection Necklace, designed to pair with my Mirage + Reflection Ring, one of the original designs from my 2014 launch of fine jewelry. I ask you to keep an eye, as I am trying to evolve my collection of rings into jewelry. The next design I will be exploring is the Rain Ring.
