Blossom was thrilled to donate and deliver a vegan lunch to the ICU staff at The Mount Sinai Hospital today! It is SO crucial to take care of those who are taking care of NYC right now - our dedicated healthcare professionals and first responders. We could not be more grateful for the lifesaving work they’re doing right now. We’re so happy to help in the only way we know how - feeding them! :)

This is a truly challenging and uncertain time, and as you know, the restaurant industry has been hit particularly hard in the wake of the economic shutdown. We've worked hard to remain open in a limited capacity for takeout and delivery service at our Upper West Side location, but there isn't any work for most of our staff, the large majority of whom depend on Blossom as their sole source of income. Most of our staff are now unemployed and facing overwhelming financial hards...hip for themselves and their families, and as state unemployment resources are inundated, many are struggling to apply for crucial aid and assistance. We've been fortunate to get to know you and serve you over the years, and we hope you've been lucky enough to get to know many of our wonderful staff as well. Blossom on Columbus will remain open for delivery & takeout service! Due to the recent city-wide orders to close all restaurants, Blossom on Ninth will be closed for both dining & takeout/delivery service, and Blossom on Columbus will be closed for dining service.... However, we know that now, more than ever, finding comfort in your favorite Blossom dishes is important, so Blossom on Columbus is going to remain open for deliveries & takeout from 12:00pm - 8:00pm daily. Delivery for our Upper West Side patrons is available online through Seamless / GrubHub, Postmates, and Uber Eats, or by phone at 212-875-2600. We invite patrons outside the Upper West Side to order through Uber Eats and Postmates. As Blossom on Columbus has a full bar, we are also able to sell wine & beer. As always, please rest assured that extra-vigilant sanitization and all best food safety practices will be in practice in our kitchen. As this situation is going to be incredibly difficult on small businesses such as ours, we’d love to invite you to treat yourself to your favorite Blossom comfort food and a bottle of wine, or a gift card to be redeemed when we reopen. to our loyal guests & patrons We wanted to address the specific precautionary measures we’re taking to actively keep staff and guests safe during the current climate surrounding the coronavirus / CoVID-19 outbreak. Though daily cleanings with Steramine, a safe but powerful food-service-grade sanitizing solution, have always been a part of our staff’s duties, (and one of the ways in which both locations have earned and maintained A health department grades) we are further in...creasing the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing after each guest leaves the restaurant. As such, if you experience slight delays in our usual prompt service, please understand that they're likely due to the increased sanitizing and safety protocols. Furthermore, any staff who feel ill in any way will be instructed to stay at home for the protection of other guests and staff. As regards food safety in general, according to the USDA Food Safety & Inspection Service, We are not aware of any reports at this time of human illnesses that suggest COVID-19 can be transmitted by food or food packaging. We want to assure all patrons that the utmost precautions are being taken to ensure their safety when dining at either Blossom location. Also, please keep in mind that both Blossom locations offer delivery service, and we’re more than happy to bring the Blossom dining experience to you. Blossom was thrilled to provide the tasty vegan treats for tonight’s PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) sponsored art gallery opening at the beautiful Ivy Brown Gallery, displaying the incredible work of artist Karen Turner! We loved to see everyone enjoying the Jackfruit Tacos, Quinoa Sushi, and Buffalo Risotto Croquettes!

Fans of #TheBlossomCookbook might be familiar with this dish, but it hasn’t made an appearance on our menu in a while - it’s our Cauliflower Risotto - on special this week for dinner at Blossom on Columbus!
