If you have a fire hydrant near your residence or business, please help us by clearing around them. Firefighters rely on hydrants to provide us with adequate water to extinguish potential fires. Every second counts during an emergency and a blocked or covered hydrant can cause a serious delay to a firefighting operation. Thank you and stay safe.

This year the Blue Point fire department Santa Run will be held on December 19th, beginning at noon. It will be modified this year due to COVID-19. We will not be able to take pictures with the kids this year, but we will be giving candy canes out to the kids in a safe manner. We will also be accepting food donations. We will not be going down dead end streets so please come to down to the nearest cross street.

The Blue Point fire department would like to thank the brave men and women who have served, and are currently serving our country.

Our Chiefs, Officers and members would like to send our condolences to the members of the Patchogue Fire Department, Patchogue Ambulance Company and especially the Rowse family, for the passing of Ex-Chief Bill Rowse. Chief, you will be sorely missed by all.
