Best Viz of the year! 80-100’ !!! We have Pink Tom, we now have Purple Fred! Also along were Joe, Bryan, Lauren, Michael, and Bob. Cold and blustery day, with 43 degree water on the wreck of AE Vickery. End result fabulous day out. Standby for video from #allaboutscuba1000islands ... #bluefootdiving. See more
This weekend we had James and Nick diving the Keystorm and America. Captain Josh at the helm with photos by him. Viz is excellent, water is cold in the low 40’s.
Mike, Ben, Anthony and Fleming out diving on the Jodrey this morning. Great conditions right now! 57 degree water and very close to 57ft of visibility. Great time had by all. Tks
Thanks to Heather from Northern Atlantic Dive Expeditions, for the great shots of the bow section of the Roy A Jodrey. Thousand Islands New York. November 2020 #bluefootdiving #northernatlanticdiveexpeditions
Ian, Eric and Ben were diving on the Vickery this weekend. All regulars here on the river. As always a pleasure to take them out.
Day 2 photos. Matt, Josh (Daddy), Mark, Nate, Ryan and Jeff diving to the wreck of Roy Jodrey Sunday October 18. Thousands Islands NY.
Thanks to Matt for bringing his Trimix CCR students Mark, Josh and Nate to dive the wreck of Roy Jodrey with their Revo units. Tagging along were Jeff and Ryan. Two great days with very capable divers who also brought some great banter. Day 1 photos.
Sunday morning took us to the wreck A E Vickery. See the photos. Then for the Avid divers another scooter shore dive on the large and ever widening dive park at Bonnie Castle in Alexandria Bay. There are now 1000’s of feet of line to follow (surveyed and mapped), platforms, statues and more. Shout out to all those involved in a great weekend. #allaboutscuba1000islands for all gas support and the dive park design and maintenance. # northatlanticdiveexpeditions for putting the group together #gauntlet #mikemcdonald for the scallops
Saturday was extremely windy so we decided to do a long scooter/drift dive in the American Narrows where you can guarantee some good conditions. Everyone had a great dive on what is a real change to the wreck dives. Divers covered well over a mile.
Thanks to Heather, Dave, Annie, Mike, Tim and Scott who have been here diving for 3 days. Boat dives in the mornings with scooter shore dives in the afternoon. Here are the photos from Friday’s Jodrey dive. Viz improving slowly. About 25 now.
Matt from East Coast Divers was out with us last week and took some great drone footage of Blue Foot our dive boat. We were diving at the America, near Singer Castle, Thousand Islands NY #bluefootdiving https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxx9gOYggIw
With the cost of HE so high, only the truly dedicated or crazy dive OC Trimix! Christian and Stephanie are two such individuals. Friends and regular clients these 2 had a great 40 minute bottom time on the Jodrey this Friday. #allaboutscuba1000islands for Trimix and gas fills.
Matt, Matt,Lisa and Henry dive the A E Vickery an 1864 built schooner sunk in 1889. Magnificent weather once again. A great way to finish the 3 days diving with Easy Coast Divers from MA. Thanks to All About Scuba for gas #allaboutscuba1000islands #eastcoastdivers #bluefootdiving
Lisa, Matt, Matt, Henry, Kate and James. Day 2 on the America. Sublime, Fantastic, Picture perfect would be 3 inadequate ways to express the weather today! Everyone had a great time diving, 64 degrees water. 20ft viz. Thanks to Matt for bringing his drone, looking forward to seeing the footage.
James, Kate, Henry, Matt,Matt and Lisa. Great to see these guys again. We had an awesome time last year and it’s turning out that way again. Violin lessons, broken tables, Rebreather’s, side mount and doubles. We have it all. #eastcoastdivers #allaboutscuba1000islands #bluefootdiving
Tyrone, Gerrald and Corey from Aquatic Voyagers Scuba Club in NYC dive the Keystorm and Vickery. Joined on day 1 by Stephanie as boat crew on what was a very windy day! Day 2 Christian and Stephanie join them to dive the Vickery. Best wishes for their dive travels:)
