My cool cannot be kept! There's a light at the end of this dismal winter tunnel and I am PUMPED! ... YOU GUYS! 28 days until spring. 4 weeks. This is it, it’s the homestretch. This winter has lasted approximately 400 days. I have seen the sun 6 times, and 2 of those times were in one day. I can’t remember what grass looks like. If I heard a bird singing I’m not sure I’d recognize it. This winter has aged me, my knees can predict snowfall now. Suffice it to say - I am over it! You will not catch me complaining when it is 90. I am here for it. I am here for all o...f it. The days when I can’t breathe because the air is thick as cream cheese, bring it on. Please. I will not even care that all of my clothes will stick to me, or that I will have to drink extra water even though I already struggle to stay hydrated. None of it will matter if I can just have some green grass and sunshine. And also iced coffee. Because I seem much less crazy drinking cold beverages in the summertime. See more

There is just so much to be thankful for this year. In terms of this little business, working with some of the most amazing people is definitely one of them. From brides to weekly regulars in the shop to subscribers to fellow business owners - all of it really made a tough season an amazing one. From our family to yours, wishing you the happiest Thanksgiving! Happy Friday, Flower Fam! If you are out and about this weekend and happen to drive by the shop remember that we have a donation box out front for items the shelter is always needing! (If you write your name on your donation we'll be sure to hang an ornament for you as well!) We have a goal to raise $1,000 for our friends at Stray Haven and with two weeks left we have a little more than $500 to go! Don't forget - just $1 to hang your own ornament. As of now we are still on for December 4th at 6PM. You can hang your own ornament and light the tree with us. You also are welcome to drop off regular food, litter, and other important items here at the shop. There is a drop box out front that you can set items in! In just a couple weeks we’ll be parking a 10-12’ Spruce right here in front of the shop. If you’ve seen our stories you know we’re doing this because we lost all of our Christmas trees/ornaments/decorations/etc in our garage fire. We really don’t have it in us to replace a lot of these things right now (why are ornaments so sentimental?! ) so instead we decided to buy a live tree and do a little something for our friends at @strayhavenspca! We’re asking you all, our frien...ds, local and otherwise to help us decorate our tree. Sponsor an ornament with your name and message for a simple $2 donation, or just $1 if you want to bring one and hang it yourself . Every ornament hung will not only help to fill our tree with love but will also help to sponsor the adoption fees of shelter babies looking for a new home for the holidays. This coming week we plan to visit the shelter so we can introduce you to some of these sweet animals that we’ll be helping! If you want to learn more about what we plan to do check out the event pinned to the top of our page for all the details! We’ve already raised $120 and hope we can do quite a bit more than that.
