We will reopen June 22nd at 11am. Due to the new regulations our waiting room will not be open. We will be working by appointment Only. To enter the shop you MUST have a mask or face covering and it cannot be your T-shirt pulled up. ... We can ONLY allow the person being tattooed, no visitors, friends, or others with you. If you have an excessive cough, a temperature or are feeling sick, then we will not tattoo you and you will be asked to leave. These are strict guidelines that must be followed for us to stay open. We want to tattoo you but we do not want to risk the safety of ourselves or our customers. We will be working through the appointments that got cancelled and fitting them in as we can. This will be a slow process but that’s how it has to be. Please be patient with us as we work to get everyone back in that had their appointments cancelled. Our priority during this is to be safe about it so it will take some time. We will be reaching out to each of you to get you rescheduled. Thank you and we look forward to tattooing you all again.

Hello everyone, a quick update... TATTOO SHOPS ARE NOT A PART OF PHASE 2 HERE IN NEW YORK STATE. We are hoping phase 2 lasts only two weeks and then we will be able to reopen then. ... We will be contacting everyone to try and fit them in but there will be very strict guidelines in place that MUST be followed to remain open. Unfortunately this means we will be taking a smaller capacity of customers at first and no one waiting in the shop or casually entering. We want to be back to work and we want to tattoo you but for some things our hands will be tied and it will be a slow process getting everyone back in and tattooed. Patience and understanding on your part will help this. We will be posting on our Facebook and Instagram when we have more updates as to a date we can reopen. Thank you.

It is very unfortunate to announce but we have been shut down due to the growing covid-19 closures. We will be closed as of Saturday evening at 8pm. We will be finishing a few appointments tomorrow that we’re already scheduled. We are not sure when this closure will be lifted. ... Once we are able to re-open we will be contacting appointments and working extra to try our very best to fit them in without placing them at the end of the line. Please be patient with us. We know everyone waits more then they would like. We don’t want to leave your skin empty any longer then we have to. Upon re-opening if you don’t hear from us then please feel free to reach out. This will affect a lot of appointments so we will do our best to contact each and every person. We are very sorry about this, but we truly do appreciate all your support and for choosing us to be the ones that you trust for your tattoos. We wouldn’t be the flourishing shop of 17+ years without all of you. Thank you, Ryan Cogswell

In light of the virus scare and things being shut down and/or restricted. We here at Body Art Tattoo Plattsburgh, NY want to make sure we are doing our best to keep everyone safe and to not promote any spread of this virus. As always we like to keep surfaces and our rooms and entire business clean and safe and so will stay focused on this even more. That said we are restricting the people entering the shop to only the persons being tattooed. This is to obviously limit perso...n to person contact as much as possible. If you are sick or feel sick please call and we can reschedule you appointment. If you come to the shop and are noticeably sick or couching/sneezing regularly we will ask that you please excuse yourself from the business until you are feeling better. We hope this whole situation blows over and everyone is safe. There is a strong possibility that any unnecessary activity/business fronts will be advised to close. If this happens we will do everything we can to adjust the schedule and get people in once things get back to a normal state. Thank you and please be patient and use common sense. -Ryan Cogswell
