Our wintering bald eagles have been out in full force the last two weeks! Did you know that each winter between 150-200 bald eagles migrate to our region? To vi...ew these majestic birds, look to the tops of trees or soaring high in the sky in the early morning or late afternoon when they are most commonly active. Did you know that it is illegal to disturb a bald eagle in its natural state? When observing eagles, make sure to follow proper eagle watching etiquette: avoid yelling or creating loud noises, remain in safe viewing locations out of the sight of the eagles, and NEVER approach or disturb an eagle.
