Today, we also honor all the dogs that put their lives on the line on this awful day, 19 years ago.
May we NEVER forget
Today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day. We're sending lots of love and hugs to anyone mourning the loss of a furry family member. Losing a pet is losing a member of the family. Our thoughts are with everyone who has lost a fur baby and is mourning. May the many happy memories get you through these difficult days
Handsome dude Tucker came in this morning for a nail trim with his brother Sammy! Sammy was a bit camera shy today. We love seeing this handsome dude!
Ash was back yesterday for her post op appointment! She brought her older brother and sister for moral support, and she laughed at them when they got their rabies vaccines Ash officially got the all clear!
Ash is not impressed she did super well for her spay today!
Remember little baby Ash?? Krissie’s kitten? She’s here to be spayed today!! She’s not impressed
Happy 4th of July from our families to yours! Remember to keep pets safe, keep them indoors. So many pets will run away if scared, so this could be a scary night for some pets. Tips for keeping pets calm- put them in A room with no windows, and turn on some music a little on the loud side. You could also try a TV. As always, be aware of the heat today! Blacktop can burn sensitive paws, and heat stroke is a possibility with the hot temperatures today. Lots of cool water and shady spots Happy 4th of July!!!!
Missing from Rice road in Boston. Keep your eyes out
Ash is at work with her mommy today! She’s finally old enough to finish her vaccines. She put on almost a pound in 2 weeks!
Patchin Fire Company would like to bring some awareness to a microscopic pest that can do a lot of damage. TICKS, you’ve heard of them, you hate them, you hope ...you don’t have to deal with them. Unfortunately this past winter did not keep us in cold enough temperatures to really knock the population down. This spring has shown a largely increased population and presents a greater risk of contracting diseases such as Lyme disease. Attached is a few photos and a graph and a detailed link to a video showing proper tick removal should you find yourself or loved ones bit. Ticks are something to not take lightly and a few of these precautionary steps can go a long way to protect yourselves. Please feel free to contact our company with any questions, and if there is enough interest we will try to put on a demonstration to help educate. Thank you. Special Thank You also to: Lorinda and Allison for help with info, poster and links for video. Please please please share this info with your friends and families. A simple share click and save someone from ending up with a lifelong disease. Link to proper safe tick removal https://youtu.be/bI-FDjI22-s
