Great news about a potential new development in Town of Liberty New York!

The Town's flags have been lowered over the last several days to honor the passing of one of our most cherished employees, Bruce R. Cox. Bruce was a respected member of the Town of Liberty Highway Department for over 30 years and a complete gentleman. All of us at the Town of Liberty are deeply saddened by his passing, as is the broader community. Rumors have circulated that other members of the Town of Liberty Highway Department have recently resigned their positions or retired. These rumors are completely untrue. Highway Superintendent Tim Pellam and his crew are mourning the loss of their friend and co-worker but the Department is otherwise intact and prepared to keep our roads safe this winter. As the Holiday Season is upon us, please keep the Cox family in your thoughts and let us all be thankful for the blessings we have.

Come out to Liberty this evening for the annual Santa Express celebration. Thanks to Cindy Fracasse Liberty Fitness Center for coordinating this annual event. And Town of Liberty Parks and Recreation have done an excellent job decorating Town Hall, don't miss it!

Great News! Randy Resnick, Butch Resnick and their team have announced that they have acquired the Ideal Food Basket grocery store on North Main Street. Save 40% on most items and at the same time help them clear out the existing stock to make room for renovations. I'm delighted to see successful local businessmen like the Resnicks start to see the opportunities in Town of Liberty New York...let's give them a warm welcome and save money on groceries at the same time! Please spread the word.
