2020 Brighton High School Graduates Nash A. Dickason, Lauren Gulick, Margaret MacAdam and Christopher Wihlen received the Lyons Scholarship from Brighton Fire Department. In safe, small ceremonies we had the privilege of handing them scholarship checks that will help them pursue their dreams post-High School. Join us in wishing these bright young people the best as they journey into their new adventures. To our Scholarship Recipients: Go do great things and always remember to be Good Neighbors.
Congratulations to Brighton's two newest career firefighters, Jamie Pittinaro & Tim Thompson, who graduated from the first ever Monroe County Career Recruit Academy this week. Also pictured is MTO Lieutenant Greg Gulick, Lieutenant Pat Donovan, and Firefighter Jim Dailey, (not pictured is Firefighter Tyler Galka)who all participated as instructors during the academy, Chief Aaron Hiller and Executive Director Ted Aroesty.
