The New York Department of Health (NY DOH) has issued visitor guidance for adult care facilities that meet specific benchmarks and are able to develop a plan for outdoor visits. A criteria of the NY DOH guidance is to share a copy of the visitor plan publically. Please refer to Brookdale’s Outdoor Visitor Policy Information for specific visitor guidance for the community once DOH criteria are met.

Our Halloween party was a huge success thanks to our Brookdale Lakewood family. Staff had fun dressing up with their Brookdale Buddies. This was our best Halloween yet!

Of the young adults with autism that pursue further schooling after high school, 75% to 85% are unemployed after graduation. Octogenarian Beverly Ficon is helping change that through her work with Spectrum Works.
