The Trap Range is looking great and there was a very good turnout yesterday. The Trap Committee is doing an awesome job with all the upgrades. Come out and join us next Saturday at 9am to try out the new Trap machine. Bring a couple boxes of shells and join in. Would also like to take a minute to remember our past member and first Trap Committee Chairman John Beale. John left us in 2005. We planted this apple tree in his memory 11 years ago. Today it is producing some pretty awesome Macintosh Apples. Stop by and give one a try while thinking of John.

The club will be hosting a NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course on September 16th . The course runs from 8AM to 5PM. The cost is $75.00 for members and $125.00 for non-BSC members. https://www.nrainstructors.org/CourseDetails.aspx

There will free sport #fishing days in New York on Veterans Day, the weekend preceding Presidents Day, and National Hunting and Fishing Day, the fourth Saturday... in September. During these designated free fishing days, New York residents and non-residents are permitted to fish for free without a fishing license.
