This morning, we were thrilled to announce a $500,000 commitment from KeyBank and its partner, the First Niagara Foundation. This commitment brings us even closer to reaching our Next Century Capital Campaign goal of $15 million to fund our one-stop community center, the Alfiero Family Center of Hope and Promise. This new center provides a wide range of essential services to help support the vulnerable and homeless across Western New York. If your class is already signed up for BCM's Mission Possible but is looking for an extra creative project, try out our Video Challenge! Students are encouraged to use items around their home cardboard boxes, paper bags, blankets, anything they have available to build their own Sleep Shelter. The goal is to show students what it’s like to be homeless and have to find a place to sleep on the streets. Have them film themselves putting together their shelters, then compile the clips and submit it to us to participate in the challenge. Today, we announced the launch of our annual Fall campaign a critically important initiative to advance our work for the homeless in our community. We’re asking for your support!
