I can’t tell you how many times we’ve heard from women seeking support the second time around No one told me about it would be like that. That’s because we don’t show these parts, talk about the really tough stuff, the real stuff. Doulas talk about it, they prepare and share, but with only a small percentage of women hiring or with access to that support, we need to talk, share, and be real about what it looks and feels like. This is hard to watch if you’ve been there, or supported someone that has. It’s real and true. We need that. We need to know, show, and support much more than we have.

This group! What a joy to encourage their loving hearts, bring more confidence to their strong voices, nurture their beautiful spirits, and spend time teaching them skills to share their gifts with our community.
