Its official... Im a welder. Not a great one though. This is fun, and i can see why welders preach about using autodark helmets.

I just went through my messages and was shocked to see so many. I will try to be better about getting back to folks. The biggest issue seemed to be the classes selling out. First class in the Buffalo Art Studio in the Trimain building on main. Overflow class of 7!!! The Dec 10th class is full, more classes to come... Buffalo Glass Company is in da buildin'!

Ok, loaded bacon chsburger earring, the other one is in the kiln. Avocado halves earrings, and another strawberry set. They're all so small, so easy to transport, even though they are delicate. However cost to volumetric space is so much more efficient compared to the ornaments, fruit fly catchers, etc, and even pipes. They take up a little more than the average business card and I can sell from 30-40 per pair once I get this jewelry Enterprise off the ground... Food earrings are my new jam!

Not much glass lately, so I haven't had much to post about. Mostly landscaping, filling Etsy orders, and Re-reinstalling myself at the guild in a second space, more appropriate for what I'm doing. However i had a chance to get in and do some fun stuff recently, so I figured I'd share. My new interest is in earrings...

Another Faux Glass Gem Pendant, Faux Glass Gem earrings, and... Pepperoni Pizza earrings. I'll be producing mostly sets of pizza and hot dog earrings for Allentown Art Festival. I'll be making and posting a new set of earrings every day until the festival.

So a I've had a new idea, at least for me. It's Faux glass gemstones. I make the basic shape out of whenever color. Anneal. Then coldwork cleaner, harder facets with my wetsaw. Then heat it back up and soften the cuts and ad a faux gold frame to make jewelry. I'll be doing pendants and earrings with this series. Many more to come. The last one in the picture was one that I finished earlier this week.

I just did a deep clean on my birdbath/ashtray/fairy garden. I love this piece, it's just a really fun... I think art deco piece. Idk. I just like it, I don't mind it kinda being a mystery to me
