We tell everyone on the tour about the white deer on the Buffalo River, but we've had a new piebald buck show up recently, and he's gorgeous! Check him out in action.
Leaving it all behind...the Buffalo city skyline as we approach fall. Still running for a few more weeks, so come enjoy what's left of summer!
Mighty tugs along the Buffalo River...the Vermont and the New Jersey from Great Lakes Towing Company and the Daniel Joncaire II and Breaker II from @nypaenergy
What a difference a day makes! Last night we were cruising on a glassy Lake Erie as the sun disappeared; today it's blustery & cool with intermittent rain, so we're calling off most of our tours. Thanks for spending your Labor Day weekend with us - we're still open for a few more weeks, so if you missed out, come take a ride when Mother Nature cooperates!
The view never gets old! The weather is spectacular today, so why not spend your weekend with us? History tours all day, cocktail cruise at 6:30 this evening.
CHEERS! It's Labor Day weekend, and it's gorgeous out here. We're doing cocktail cruises Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so book an evening cruise now before they're sold out. History tours all day, party all night!
Crewmember @jfiegs02 coming through with this epic sunset pic from the other night. This is your last chance to celebrate summer, so we're hosting three cocktail cruises over the Labor Day weekend! Come out with us, have a drink, and snap pics like this of your own as we round out the season.
The Connecting Terminal all dressed up for the evening! Thanks everyone for a great Saturday; stop out tomorrow during the day for a history tour!
On the weekend we do happy hour cruises that sometimes take us down the shoreline to the Steel Winds wind farm...can you imagine anything more relaxing than being on the water, riding down there near sunset, watching those mighty blades spin? Book a cruise, grab a drink, and we'll do the rest!
Beautiful day, beautiful sunset, and we're ready to do it all again tomorrow! See you then!
Always nice to catch @spiritofbuffalo with her sails up! If you're ever looking for a cruise with a little less history and a few more drinks, she's got your number. Take a sail you'll never forget on the flagship of the city of Buffalo!
The sky is looking pretty epic in the wide angle lens from the deck of the Harbor Queen today! The weather cooled off, and it's absolutely perfect to be up top on a history tour. See you soon!
New boat came into Buffalo Harbor and the Buffalo River today: the Petite Forte tug and the St. Mary's Cement barge. Word is she's headed up the river to the LaFarge elevator. Come out this weekend and take a look!
The Manitoulin is so big, it's hard to get her all in one picture! At over 650' long, she's an intimidating sight. She's pictured here unloading grain at the ADM Standard elevator. Come take a history tour, and if you're lucky, one of these gargantuan ships may be in port!
Come check out historic Elevator Alley, the largest extant collection of grain elevators in the entire world! The weather is going to be out of the world this weekend, so make your way to the waterfront, soak up some sun and a little history along the way.
