Join Franchelle C.H. Parker, Executive Director, Open Buffalo and Max Anderson, Deputy Director, Open Buffalo for a conversation about 716 Votes!, a civic initiative of Open Buffalo to engage, educate and activate people of color, ages 16 to 25, to increase voter registration and participation in the 2020 election and beyond. 716 Votes! is rooted in empowerment, training, and leadership. The objective is to first assist youth to heal from community traumas, and then teach them how to become advocates for racial equity, social justice, and policy change.
