Staff from our Building & Grounds Department recently replaced the crumbling brick with beautiful stone to hold the granite sign done by Eagle Scout David Miller a few years back. Nicely done!

Registration for Fall soccer is NOW open through July 13th. This program is only open to Town of Plattsburgh Youth ages 5-13. (non-residents must register with... their own town) Please, keep in mind that we will also need a head coach with two assistants for each team. The Fitness For Life area and Youth Adventure area are NOW open. We would like to remind everyone to stay save and follow all new park regulations, including physical distancing, face coverings and sanitize your hands before leaving the park.

We received excellent news from the Town of Plattsburgh Town Board this morning! Playgrounds, including swings, are re-opening! This also means the disc golf... baskets will be placed back onto the targets!!! Keep your eyes open and be ready to get out and stay active. Please, be patient as our Building and Grounds Staff will be working their way through these tasks in the coming days. We would like to remind everyone to stay safe and follow all new park regulations, including physical distancing, face coverings and sanitize your hands before leaving the park. Please, note that ball fields and basketball courts will remain closed for now. We are hoping to see those re-open during Phase 4. Please, continue to be safe and patient with us as we navigate through these times. We continue to follow CDC, state, and local guidelines for our Parks.

The Clinton County Health Dept has asked us to thank you for practicing social distances, thorough hand washing, etc. Please keep vigilant. The Town’s playgrou...nds, tennis & basketball courts and the Disc Golf course remain closed. But we still encourage folks to walk the trails, do some geocaching, and other outdoor activities. Just individual families or couples please! Stay safe and be well!! See more

We are following the lead of New York State Parks & Historic Sites and closing all Town playgrounds, athletic fields and sport courts. We are still encouraging individual recreation opportunities but trying to stop group congregating. Please folks, this is in everyone’s best interest-consider you friends & families and their safety.

Save the date! Don't miss the River Run Tri in August....even if you don't want to participate, we will need volunteers or just people to cheer on the participants.
