Gary Bidwell knows a thing or two about helping others and getting the job done. That’s what happens when you’re a Lieutenant for the East Bloomfield Volunteer Ambulance, a division of Canandaigua Emergency Squad. His interest in the medical field began when he helped Bristol start their first ambulance corps, and continued when in 2015 he joined EBVA where he’s been a valuable member of our team. With 60 years of marriage, a son and a daughter, and three ankle biter dogs (his words, not ours ), Gary brings a wealth of experience to any situation he’s in. The camaraderie of the team is what Gary loves most about the CES/EBVA and we should let you know, the feeling is mutual.
Thank You Finger Lakes Bakes for dropping off some delicious treats for our crews!

In case you missed it: This morning, Lieutenant David Hubble covered the newest addition to our critical care toolbox. Made possible by a grant through Walmart and headed up by Paramedic Eric Decker, the VividTrac Laryngoscope will aid our Advanced Life Support providers if they are faced with a difficult intubation while caring for our patients. Just one of many examples of our dedication to bringing the highest level of care to our patients in their time of need. Thank You to Fox Rochester WUHF for sharing our story! https://foxrochester.com//canandaigua-emergency-squad-purc
