Candor School District Residents, don't forget your school ballot is due TODAY. If you still have it, do not mail it! Place it in the drop box in the "Main Office" foyer at the high school. It must be received by 5 p.m. today. If you mail in your ballot it must be received (not postmarked) by June 16.

Candor Community Service Scholarship Application DEADLINE: June 8 Candor Community Services Corporation is a nonprofit whose mission is to promote the well-being and betterment of the [Candor] community and its members. We welcome applicants for our community service scholarship. Nontraditional (adult) students and those attending trade school are encouraged to apply, as well as traditional high school. APPLICANT CRITERIA: ... 1. Reside in the Town of Candor, Village of Candor, or Candor Central School District for at least the last six months. 2. Maintain a minimum overall high school grade point average of 80% or 2.7. 3. Be enrolled or intend to enroll in any program of higher education in the coming academic year. Scholarship check will be disbursed upon receipt by the CCSC of college grades for the first semester and college bill for the second, provided that the student remain in good academic standing. Please use complete sentences. A. Where do you plan to continue your education and what is your intended field of study (if known)? (brief answer is fine) B. Please describe your service involvement in the Candor community. Examples of relevant involvement may include, but are not limited to, leadership or involvement in clubs, tutoring, church, fire department, emergency squad, food pantry, library, or other community organizations. Be sure to mention how long and in what capacity you have been involved with various groups or activities.
