Kim Lorang did it again! Congratulation Kim on your 5th place in Vet-60 Women's Saber during 2019 National Championships. Further kudos go to you for having demonstrated that switching from right handed fencing to left can be successfully done. Patience and persistence brings rewards :).

Congratulations to Peter Meshkov on his 11th place in the East Coast Challenge RJCC held on Sunday, May 12th, in Rockaway, NJ. This result enables Peter to fence in Cadet Men's Sabre event during the 2019 USA Fencing National Championships & July Challenge (SNC&JC). Peter was one of the 73 saber cadet fencers competing in this event. Based on the pools results, before Direct Eliminations (DEs), he was seeded #9. In DEs, Peter advanced to the table of 16, where he lost to the event's gold medalist. Peter did not fence in earlier qualifying events and it was his last chance to earn enough points to qualify for the SNC&JC scheduled for July 1st in Columbus Ohio. By finishing 11th, he exceeded the required minimum points by substantial margin. Well done Peter and good luck in Columbus!
