From pots and pans and spoons and whisks to coffee cans and popcorn tins and a screwdriver, grief support participants enjoyed an outdoor evening of Healthy Rhythms Drum Circle led by Carolyn Zimmerman. With masks on and safely socially distancing, participants found a great way to alleviate the stress and anxiety of grief as well as the added anxiety from the covid-19 pandemic! Maciej Buczkowski, a 38 year old Polish-born striker shot in the same incident that instantly killed Casimer Mazurek on September 23, 1919, is buried nearby in ...Holy Cross Cemetery. Buczkowski died two days later. Less is known about him, but he will not be overlooked. We will pay our respects at his gravestone following the Mazurek rededication. Help us honor these labor martyrs at Holy Cross Cemetery this Monday, September 21, 5:30 pm. See more

So, following CDC regulations and Catholic Cemetery procedures to ensure everyone's safety, Grief Support Meetings were limited in size and held outdoors.
