DiBella's Subs was kind enough to donate 1,000 free kids meal coupons to the children in our Capital District YMCA Childcare Program! We are so grateful for this donation and we know our kids will be excited!

Yesterday our volunteers & staff from across the association contributed over 40 "Bags of Love" - that's over 800lbs of food - to our neighbors at the South End Children's Cafe. Our Capital District YMCA volunteers were activated after learning the café was having a facility issue that would prevent them from receiving a food delivery and storing the food for deliveries to 100 homes on Friday. Our volunteers responded to the call to action immediately and helped to secure food. Additionally, Greenbush Branch volunteers stocked the café's Outdoor Cupboard with nonperishable items. Consider dropping off a few items the next time you're in Albany! 25 Warren Street, Albany.

Our YMCA was changed dramatically this year. The pandemic forced us to close our operations for six months, but because of your charitable support, we were able to step up and continue serving our community’s critical needs when your neighbors needed us most. As we look toward the future and continuing to serve our community in amazing ways, we wanted to take a moment to recognize your support of our mission and to share how very grateful we are to have sustaining members like you. We celebrated the holiday season with a drive-thru event for our Circle of Champs families! Since we were unable to host our usual holiday party, we gifted our kids with donated presents at a drive-thru! Thank you to our donors and volunteers who made this event so special.
