BIG NEWS Y’ALL: According to an email I just received from ASNY, (Acupuncture Society of NY) Acupuncturists in the state of NY have now been deemed essential workers to patients WHO HAVE A SCRIPT FROM THEIR DOCTOR for acupuncture. I actually grazed over this part and just re-read it, and it is bittersweet my friends. If you can get your MD to prescribe it for you which most will, (althoughI know it’s another step and annoying because I have been seeing you all prior to Covid-...19 without needing one), it is then possible to be seen at my office!! It’s a start!! Secondly: Submission of ReOpen Plan The ASNY Advocacy Committee has completed the Industry ReOpen Plan. It is under review by Venable, LLP's Division of Labor to make sure all compliance points are included. It will be available early next week, for those who do not want to develop their own plans. It is comprehensive and covers all authoritative sources for implementation and will include forms for use. ASNY will release it as soon as the review is completed. I intend to use their ReOpen Plan because of how comprehensive it is, hence I am waiting for its release and will keep you all posted. In the meantime, get your scripts for acupuncture from your Dr. if you’re able to and please reach out to me by email or text. I will be in the office and ready to open by June 1st- possibly a tad sooner, just waiting on ASNY’s ReOpen Plan.

This is something I have been trying to do every day-3x a day to get my blood moving. If you feel like you’ve become too sedentary lately, and need to get your blood flowing- this is an easy way to do so! I set 3 alarms at 8am-12pm-4pm so that I remember until it develops into my new habit. Let me know if you try it!
