We want to thank all of staff and volunteers that worked the testing site this week. We were able to provide a valuable and needed service to the community. We tested over 600 people and identified many positive cases that we placed in isolation helping to slow the spread. For three days they were in PPE all day testing, out in the cold, rain, snow! parking cars, entering data, registering people, providing results, ensuring smooth and safe flow through the site, or helping ...with set up and tear down. Also, many thanks to New Beginnings Church for providing the space to conduct the testing. It takes the coordinated effort of all and we couldn’t do it without the help of each and everyone of them. In particular we want to thank the unpaid volunteers for stepping up to assist. We couldn’t do it without them and the Health Department truly appreciates their help. Kudos to Vicki for recruiting her husband, Margaret for driving an hour to be there, and Able2 for sending staff!
