Easy to remember when you can never forget.

With my mom still in the hospital after a full month, today’s reading moved me so deep, I will never forget it. It reminded me why I continue juggling my readings the best I can with everything else I got going on lately. Two sisters came to see me (social distancing of course) and immediately their mother in spirit came to me and showed me a snapshot of a heartbeat which you can see I drew right at the top of my notes. A few moments later, I brought through their deceased da...d and he showed me respiratory illness, but I also received that about their mom and I couldn’t put my finger on when exactly their parents passed away. After a few other validations including their parents knowing about a recent visit their Aunt Geri’s lakehouse upstate and an upcoming stomach surgery for one of their husbands, I had to ask how my initial impressions made sense. Their response floored me. These 2 young sisters lost both their parents to Covid on the same exact day earlier this year. After days of hoping for a miracle, both parents were placed on life support. Knowing nothing was improving, doctors wheeled their mom to the same room as their father. Together, these sister’s made the toughest decision of their life- to allow their parents to pass together. The last thing they asked of the nurses was for a snapshot of their parent’s last heartbeat. To the nurses credit, they obliged. Trying to swallow the lumps in my throat throughout the reading, I remembered I left out the name LISA I had written in bold. They shared, it was the name of the cousin who worked at the hospital their parents were brought to who pulled strings to allow 1 daughter access to be with mom and dad as they passed. If this family sees this post, please know you will be in my prayers tonight. So many stories like these are surfacing and my heart truly breaks for all affected by this awful time in history. Reminds me how blessed I am to still hold my mom’s hand and feel her pulse through that beautiful grip of hers. The energy that vibrates through our pulses lives on forever. This purple balloon landed in our backyard. We all took at as a sign from my dad. Hours later, my mom suffered a near fatal heart rhythm causing her to pass out, splitting her head open. Luckily, her pace maker corrected her heart and 12 staples later, doctors say she is one lucky woman. She has been in the hospital and now rehab since July 26th. No doubt my dad was around that day letting us know somethings up. Since my mother helps books all of my appointments it has take...n me quite sometime these past 2 weeks to catch up with the volume.
