It’s the second Sunday of Advent! We welcomed Elder Connie Knapp to our virtual pulpit this morning and heard her beautiful Advent reflection. We also lit our Advent candles at home as we watched Tess Dul, Amy Dul, and Mitch Dul light theirs on screen, sharing blessings with all who gathered. Thank you to Tom McCoy for gorgeous music and Lynn Brown for her amazing work behind the scenes (screens?) each week!

Bang! Boom! Whine! Woof! Cock-a-doodle-do! Are some days full of noise and turmoil? Do you crave a little peace? Read our Community News this week! Enjoy an Advent essay on peace; news about our outreach to neighbors in need; a shout-out to a local resident who found a cool way to support our Food Pantry; and info on all of our Advent & Christmas services! Tis the season! It's Christmas pageant time. While our church family eagerly awaits our 2020 Virtual Christmas Pageant on Sunday, Dec. 20, at 10:30 am, enjoy this classic video of kids telling the Nativity Story in their own words as adults act it out! For more info on our pageant, email [email protected]. Kudos to Carolyn Llewellyn and Tess Dul for creating a whole new kind of pageant to keep our kids safe this year!
