Good article to read over and over if you recognize your own patterns . Let it sink into your Coach ( your adult brain - pre frontal cortex - behind your forehead). We are blinded by our emotions and fantasy about the potential we see in the other without logically evaluating the character and behavior of the other. Don’t believe the sweet words they whisper and promise they will try harder, do better, cry, grovel, will never do that stupid thing again.
