Join us in welcoming Arnold Butch Amthor as our new Chief of Police. He is a respected leader in the Law Enforcement community and active force in the City of Newburgh’s community. This week he attended a sermon by Pastor Rob McLymore at Life Restoration Church with some of his friends and family.

As we continue to strive for excellence in policing, we would like to extend warm wishes to the community that we serve. These are trying times for everyone and it is important that we all continue to work together in keeping the peace on our streets, in our homes and during our interactions with each other. With these thoughts in mind, the CNPD is taking a new step forward to use our social media accounts as a way to help keep the public better informed about our department, as well as a way to connect with the community we serve. We look forward to connecting with you all.
