Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the loved ones of three National Guardsmen killed in a helicopter crash in Mendon earlier this week. One of the men killed is a York native, and a Go Fund Me has been established to assist the family. It is already double the initial goal.... another testament of how Western New Yorkers take care of their own. Here is the link if you would like to contribute. What a weekend. The people that live in my area and that listen to CJ Country (my radio station) never cease to amaze me with their heart and generosity. It’s... been a rough year for the whole lot of us, but I am blown away with the support given to this weekend’s Stuff the Truck food drive to benefit the Warsaw Food Pantry, which feeds people, families and children in Wyoming county. Whether it was a few dollars and an armload of tomato soup cans or heavy box loads of supples and wads of cash or a check, you guys gave, happily and readily. In spite of all that’s happening in our world, you took time for others. I’ve been in radio professionally since 1989 and have worked from small markets all the way up to the top 10. I have never come across people as kind and as big-hearted as our listeners and GLOW region Western New Yorkers. You are a special bunch and I’m blessed to broadcast to you. Let’s finish this year bolstered by the love you showed others this weekend. You restore my faith in the world with your efforts. We’ll announce the totals Monday morning. Thank you. Jimi Jamm
