Tough times don’t last tough people do!! Climbing a mountain is a great metaphor for achieving almost anything in life. It's just a case of putting one foot in front of the other and eventually you will get to yourdestination. Whether it's school work, ill health, loneliness, fear oranythingelsethat blocks our path,we can all turn negative's intopositives. No matter how tough times get, we have the potential to achieve the best of life. One of the most satisfyingth...ings of being a Fitness Coach in the 2nd half of 2020 wasthe growth ofour Online Program. It wasn't just the physical improvements of the attendees but it was theimprovedmentality that was themost satisfying part. They gotphysically stronger yes, but they also learned to push through barriers and ceilings they thought they had, they learned that it's easy to come to class on the nice days and the good weather, but it takes a different type of mindset to come on the colder darker day's. And this is where resilience is taught and resilience in this life is a very very important characteristic to have. This resilience gained will be the very same resilience we tap into to get through the tough times mentioned above whether that's in school, in college, in work or in relationships. So together let's turn our current situation into a mightily positive one and stay healthy in both mind and body this Winter. #clannhealth #buildingatribe #nyc #louisburgh #dingle #irishamerican #irishinnewyork #irishinnyc #irishinboston #strength

A HUGE THANK YOU!! As 2021 commences we at Clann Health want to extend a huge Thank You to you all for making it a very successful opening year for us What started (Pic 1) as classes being streamed Live from a rooftop in Queens New York and with @shanefinn broadcasting through ZOOM and a dodgy internet reception in Dingle (pic 2) has now led to our Team training people online from all over the world, hosting Events and Challenges getting people Outdoors and in doing so... raising thousands of dollars for good causes too!! At the beginning we said that if we can help just one person stay active and Feel Better each day then we will keep showing up and doing what we are doing. So a Huge Thank you to everyone who tuned in or followed us from the beginning, to those who simply sent us nice messages or positive vibes when we didn’t know the difference between Landscape or Portrait mode, or a Facebook Live or an Instagram Post!! We have taken on Team Members who excel at their craft and who are so passionate about helping people and in helping to grow this amazing Community too! Our Members, their families and friends have come together on multiple occasions to raise thousands of dollars for good causes during what was a very challenging time for people everywhere. We always say it but we are so much more than the Push Ups and the Squats. We are a Community who help people to Feel Better though Exercise, Adventure, Fun and Fundraising!! So many things to look back on with a smile and so many things to look forward to with anticipation .. and the exciting thing is that we are only getting started!! We are looking forward to building on this story, here’s to an even better 2021!! #clannhealth #buildingatribe #nyc #louisburgh #dingle #irishamerican #irishinnewyork #irishinnyc #irishinboston #strength

Aim for progress not perfection!! As we head into the final week of 2020 and start thinking about New Year Goals and Challenges it’s important to adopt the Long Term Approach!! Compare yourself to who you were a month ago, a year ago when you started back training. That’s also a huge part of building mental toughness, looking at yourself and looking how far you’ve come in the long term.... Don’t compare yourself to others, not friends and not celebrities. Use your own mirror and use yourself as your own inspiration. So you can look back at how far you’ve come. We overestimate what we get done in a day, we underestimatewhat we get done in a month/year #clannhealth #buildingatribe #nyc #louisburgh #dingle #irishamerican #irishinnewyork #irishinnyc #irishinboston #strength See more

As Christmas week begins, remember that eating more and having a few extra long nights is perfectly fine and all balanced of a balanced life Long term sustainable results and positive habits with Health and Fitness do not come from 1 or 2 weeks of the year around Christmas instead results come from the other 50 or 51 weeks that don’t include Christmas and New Year celebrations! Our advice is to train when you want to over Christmas and take a break when you want to a...s well, recovery is very important too So enjoy Christmas week guilt free, but do get outdoors too and get some fresh air in! Sweat off the holiday sessions a bit .. and do it all over again then after #clannhealth #buildingatribe #nyc #louisburgh #dingle #irishamerican #irishinnewyork #irishinnyc #irishinboston #strength See more
