Study International has highlighted Clarkson as an inclusive university that makes a conscious effort to build a healthy and diverse learning environment ideal for executing goals.

A local child will be riding in style from now on, thanks to a capstone project developed by one of Clarkson University’s occupational therapy students. Beth Ann Davies, from Zionsville, PA, said she wanted to use her capstone project to make a positive impact on the life of someone in the local community. The result is a retrofitted ride-on toy car that a local child with disabilities can use to get around and be at play.

After a call went out from the New York Governor’s Office looking for students in health fields to help administer COVID-19 vaccinations in their communities, students in Clarkson University’s Physician Assistant Program quickly volunteered to help. Clarkson joined forces with St. Lawrence Health System’s (SLHS) Infectious Disease team to run and staff a mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinic in St. Lawrence County.
