Clayton Youth Commission 18.01.2021

Wow! One day in for the Clayton Youth Commission Viking Dipper team and we have already made 40% of our goal for River Hospital! Thank you to all our supporters so far!!! Also, a local business and several community members have come together to convince the CYC Vice President (Darin Barton) and Soccer Director (Tasha Dwyer) to get a VERY LARGE bucket of ice water dumped on them. Darin and Tasha have agreed to take the huge splash IF we can meet our goal of $1,00...0 by the first week of February! Of course we will need some of our athletes in Viking gear there to give us a countdown and some moral support! 321 Register, donate, and share to support! Let’s go Vikings! #RiverHospitalDip2021 #polarbeardip https://secure.qgiv.com//riverhospitalvirtual/team/872541/

Don't forget to bring your kiddos to the Clayton Youth Commission Trick or Treat event tomorrow 3pm-5pm at the Clayton Fire Hall!! Please park far away from fire truck emergency exits in the event of a fire call. Event will be held outside at several socially distanced tables. All candy and other items will be prepackaged and handled only by the sponsors at each table who will have face masks on, hand sanitizer and will have been properly screened prior to attending event.... Only one family group will be allowed at each table at the same time BUT we will have LOTS of candy and goodies for your kids to scoop up at each table!! We ask that if you or your children have been sick or exposed to anyone with COVID or possible COVID to be respectful of the community and not attend this event for the safety of our volunteers and the community. We would like to thank the following companies and groups for their generous donations that made this event possible: Clayton Shurfine River Day Spa and Salon Grant E. Dier Insurance Watertown Savings Bank Clayton Dental Office Clayton Fire Department Town and Village of Clayton United Methodist Church Thank you for your thoughtful and kind donations to help ensure our community’s children can enjoy a fun and safe Halloween!!

Soccer is still on for tonight

We apologize for the confusion with the TI Soccer Club page stating that the registration for Fall soccer was full. CYC sponsored programs will never turn any child away. The soccer club will be following distancing rules and may need some parents or older players to step in to help if a large number of unregistered players show up to ensure that the skill drills are spaced out safely. If your child needs cleats and/or shin guards contact us ASAP! ... We hope your soccer players have fun tonight! Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

We are aware of the "full" soccer registration issues and are working on getting the issue worked out. Thank you for your patience while we work out some kinks!
