We've been using Google's ad customizer capabilities for some time but that involves uploading a feed. This new IF function let's you just add an IF statement to your ads IN-LINE so it should be much more accessible to the masses. One thing we'd love Google to address is a way to use the IF function and ad customizers to update the Final URL. Facebook has just introduced "automated rules" to Ads Manager and Power Editor. Very similar to Adwords rules, it will allow you to Pause/Enable, Modify Bids and Budgets at the campaign, ad set, and ad level. Facebook is testing new ads to monetize videos in your news feed. Unlike Youtube where you have to watch an ad before the video starts (pre-roll), FB will insert 15-second ads into videos after the 20-second mark (mid-roll.) Luckily only videos that are at least 90-seconds long will be eligible. Bad for users? Good for content creators and advertisers? #TimeWillTell #FacebookAds #Youtube
