Saturday December 19th Santa will be visiting Coeymans Hollow, he’s requested to be taken on a tour in our fire truck, there’s rumor Mrs. Claus may be with him! We’d love to make it through our entire fire district, but we’re not sure just how much time Santa will have. AT&T wireless is experiencing a hardware issue that is preventing a caller to be heard when dialing 911. The call will connect but we cannot hear you. We shoul...d be able to call you back. They are working on it now! Just an FYI if your an AT&T customer. The equipment is in Rochester. Unsure how far of an area is affected. See more

The members of Coeymans Hollow Fire Company are heavy hearted today and are thinking about our brothers and sisters of the Berne Fire District. We are truly sadden to hear about the loss of past District Chief/Company Chief Peter Becker. RIP Chief Becker.

After a windy, warm, and overall pleasant Saturday, most of the day, we'll need to be on the alert for another round of potentially severe t'storms with damagin...g wind coming in from the north. The set-up is similar to Wednesday with some differences, but overall supportive of damaging wind gusts in fast moving line segments of storms. Right now it looks like initiation over northern NY/northern New England at some point by mid afternoon with development south through the late afternoon and evening....as it appears right now, after 2-3pm for northern areas with storms potentially not into the Capital Region until the late afternoon or early evening. Although, if a line should organize, it would likely move very quickly, as was the case Wednesday, which could hasten the timing. You'll want to be weather aware and alert through tomorrow and have a way to stay informed should warnings be issued. See more

Emergency crews responded to a report of a rollover accident on Route 32 in the area of Copeland Hill Road around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 27. Chief Bill... Kapusta of the Coeymans Hollow Fire Department says the driver stated he had dropped his vape pen and reached down to pick it up just before the crash occurred. The car exited the roadway, hit some rocks and hit the culvert. There was only one occupant in the vehicle and was given field sobriety tests on the scene by the New York State Police. Trooper Meghan Lohman of New York State Police said in a statement that the crash remains under investigation and no charges have been filed against the driver. There were no injuries reported.
