Movement Analysis and Somatic Awareness for Capoeira is officially happening with our own Instrutor Brasa. We will be meeting from 6 to 7:20 pm EST on Sundays starting February 21. This will be a 4 week mini-course where we will explore how to talk about movement and examine how movement affects us. The structure of classes will be discussion based, with videos for analysis. All the initial videos will be of non-participants, though towards the end I will accept submissions ...if you would like your movements analysed. We will move, but very little space is required. The course includes a worksheet, assigned videos and in person instruction. Instrutor Brasa will also be available to answer any questions on each Monday evening following the class. The early bird price for the course is $80 up to February 14 and $90 From February 15 to the 21. Drop ins are $30. Memberships will be put on hold as of March 17th and reactivated when the academy reopens. Also, any class passes will not expire. While we will not be able to come together at... the academy, we are working towards online offerings to support your home practice.
