The weather outside is frightful, but the comics are so delightful The Amazing Spider-Man #55 2nd print red "webhead" is on sale today. Make sure to get yours! If you missed out on some of the early Future State comics, we have some second printings this week - Swamp Thing, Wonder Woman, Next Batman, Dark Detective, and Harley Quinn. Plus new issues of Next Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Swamp Thing, Harley Quinn, and Superman of Metropolis. Fear Case is a cool new Dark... Horse book from Matt Kindt and Tyler+Hillary Jenkins, the same creative team as Grass Kings. Star Wars High Republic drops its second issue from Marvel and the IDW series Star Wars Adventures High Republic debuts. Deep Beyond is an intriguing new sci-fi series from Image Comics. Happy #newcomicbookday ! Stake is a new vampire series from Scout Comics, featuring a snazzy variant from Derrick Chew. Future State is rolling along. We've got Aquaman, Batman Superman, Dark Detective, Superman vs Imperious Lex, Legion of Super-Heroes, and Suicide Squad. Outside of Dark Detective there seems to be less demand this week than previous ones, so let us know if you need something! Marvel continues its month of Marvel vs Alien variants with Captain Marvel, Daredev...il, Fantastic Four, Shang-Chi, Wolverine, and X-Men variants. Also from Marvel, King In Black drops with three tie-in issues - Daredevil, Deadpool, and Savage Avengers - plus the final issue of KIB Namor. Welcome to another #newcomicbookday ! King In Black #3 features the return of Thor and a face-off against Knull. DC Future State sales have calmed down after a hectic first couple weeks. At the time of this post, we have all of them from this week except Nightwing. We also received a few reorders on previous releases, so let us know if you see something you need! Rorschach, Batman Catwoman, Legion of Super-Heroes, and DCeased round out the week for DC. Fan-favorite Brandon Gr...aham's first comic work in years, Rain Like Hammers, dropped and we still have a couple left. It's another beautiful #newcomicbookday Rorschach by Tom King and Jorge Fornes is an interesting debut issue. The noir style art and pacing make are appropriate for the character and it brings in an interesting mystery at the end of the issue. Dark Nights: Death Metal calls in the big guns - Superboy Prime. X of Swords continues this week with New Mutants, Hellions, Cable, and the X of Swords Handbook. For the second week in a row, we have a milestone Amazing Spider-Man issu...e. This time it's issue #50 and launches the "Last Remains" storyline. Warhammer 40k begins its Marvel era with a fantastic creative team of Kieron Gillen and Jacen Burrows. Gerard Way's True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys debuts its second series, titles The National Anthem. Come on in and grab some great comics! See more

Detective Comics #1027 is here. This issue celebrates 1000 issues since Batman first appeared in Detective Comics #27. A day late with our #newcomicbookday post. Hellblazer: Rise & Fall is DC's latest Prestige Plus format Black Label book. It's a 3-issue miniseries written by Tom Taylor with art by Darick Robertson. It's a gorgeous book and Tom Taylor shows a knack for writing John Constantine. The first issue is on sale and in stock here. Empyre concludes this week. Fantastic Four continues to play a key role in the event. Marvel Zombies Resurrection is a fun relaunch. We Only Find Them When... They're Dead is Boom's latest big time release. It's an intriguing sci-fi story with nice art. Inkblot from Image Comics is a story about time traveling cats. Need I say more? Come on down and enjoy a little more peace and quiet on this Thursday!
