We hope all of you have remained safe and healthy throughout these last few months! Our staff is currently working on the 2021 season, after knowing so many hearts were broken this summer. The hot age group of course is 13u. At current, our 13u age division is sold out! We are accepting waitlist applications only. We were able to secure an extra field for our final week of 2021, so those teams who were next on the waitlist, should be receiving their confirmations shortl...y! As we explained to those of you who reached out, we are trying to secure an extra field on the other weeks, so we can add more teams, but the decision will most likely not happen until October, as school decision have precedent right now. We are slotting all 12u teams that have submitted their applications now and the remaining letters will go out next week. Please be sure to keep an eye out for those packets in the mail! For those of you who still need to submit registration forms and deposits, please get them in ASAP so you don't miss your chance. We hope you all remain safe as this continues. We look forward to being ale to return to the fields in 2021 and continuing to build memories for you all!

We hope everyone has remained safe and healthy throughout the covid19 crisis we have all been effected by. We have heard from 95% of our teams who were supposed to participate in 2020 and we are pleased to see that 85% of our teams will return to CBW in 2021! For those teams we will not have the opportunity to meet, we wish you all well and hope all of the boys, coaches and families will be back on the fields soon. We have been bombarded with the 13u applications for the 20...21 season. As we anticipated, the need to expand our tournaments to try and accommodate as many teams in this particular age group as we can, is definitely there. We will offer 13u every single week in 2021! That being said, looking at all of the 12u teams returning and all of the new applications we have received, we are just about sold out at13u! If you have any interest in all in 13u specifically, we encourage you to try and get in your registration and deposit submittedthis week, or it will most likely be too late! While we would love to be able to help each team with their goal of playing in Cooperstown, the demand is just too tremendous. Now that the initial sting of this year's tournaments being cancelled is over, we wanted to take a moment to recognize one very special group, The Cortlandt Nationals. Hosting tournaments from 12u through 16u has always allowed us to see players of different ages and sometimes players return for another season at an older age group. With the Cortlandt Nationals, we got even more. The Cortlandt Nationals came to us in 2017, when they were 13u (found CBW after a 12u trip to Co...operstown). I can remember my initial conversations with Coach Mike and how wonderful he was and how easy he was to work with. That trip in 2017 would turn into multiple summers! Coach Mike, Coach Frank and Coach Mark returned with the boys again in 2018 as 14u and again in 2019 as 15u. This summer they would have been with us at 16u for their fourth and final hurrah. It has only happened two other times in our CBW history where we watched a group grow with us from 12u all the way up to 16u! I consider it a privilege to have watched the Cortlandt Nationals for the last 3 summers! They came to us at boys and slowly matured into fantastic young men. Each year getting a little taller, a little "older" looking and with some of the best smiles we looked forward to seeing! Even though they have had the experience so many times before, letting them know of our cancellation this summer, hurt just as much as telling our younger teams. After discussions concerning the ongoing covid19 situation, Cooperstown Baseball World will be cancelling all tournaments for the 2020 tournament season.
