Maybelle has been reunited with her mom!! It’s a Christmas miracle!!! Maybelle was picked up as a stray 3 weeks ago. No one stepped up to claim her. She was about to be made adoptable, but then we finally got the call we had been waiting for! Turns out, Maybelle is an Oklahoma native! Maybelle slipped away from mom Melissa at a truck stop. Melissa searched up and down the freeway but was only able to stay a single night in Cortland. We’ve been in contact for the past 3 weeks as she has been making accommodations to get from Oklahoma back to New York to be reunited with her baby. Today was finally the day!! These two sweet girls came in stray this week. The kitten is about 2.5 months old and was found on West Main. The older girl was found on Vandonsel Road. If you have any information about either of them, please call the shelter at 607-753-9386.
