We have a great event coming up at Rose Hall this Saturday, March 7th, to raise money for a new youth scholarship that helps send local students abroad as part ...of the American Music Abroad (AMA) program. This year's recipient is Annie Barnes, a local drummer and Cortland High School student. Annie has been selected to go to Italy, Croatia, Austria, Germany, and Switzerland this summer and Saturday's show will raise funds to help cover the cost of the trip. Everyone who purchases tickets in advance will receive a free sheet of raffle tickets for a chance to win a variety of prizes at the event. Congrats Annie! When Annie Barnes was a little girl, she would pick up drum sticks and bang on everything. Now the 14-year-old from Cortland is taking her sticks to Italy, Croatia, Austria, Germany and Switzerland for an American Music Abroad tour July 3 to July 22.
