"The most exciting spaces and the best interior designers mix different aestheticsthat combination of old world and new," Bikoff says. "So I love the idea of having these wood panels and European molding mixed in with rounded, ‘70s and ’80s modern furnishings." New work for ELLE Decor. #Repost @elledecor with @get_repost For the design of the ELLE Decor Café in @theplazahotel's iconic Rose Club, @sashabikoff knew immediately that she wanted to use her colorful Uptown Toile fabric. "It goes with the whole idea of a European old world elegance, but it's also really cheeky, with a scene of a Brigitte Bardot-esque woman walking down Fifth Avenue with two poodles," says Bikoff. "This was my fun ode to the jazzy, party space. The pattern makes a connection to the Plaza and what it stands for. The ELLE Decor Café will be open through March 31.
