Cote Korean Steakhouse 03.04.2021

Violence against Asian American communities has resurged a year since the start of the pandemic, and has created increased xenophobia against Americans of Asian descent. Our hearts go out to all of the families who have lost elders and loved ones to the racially charged attacks in Asian American communities. @simonkimnyc and team COTE will show support to our community by doing what we do best: serving up great food, and great hospitality to benefit three organizations on the... frontline of activism: Apex for Youth, Asian Americans for Equality, and CACF: Coalition for Asian American Children & Families. We are opening for a ticketed, one-day-lunch service on Saturday March 6, and 100% OF ALL SALES will be donated equally between APEX (an organization that delivers possibilities to underserved Asian and immigrant youth from low income families in NYC), AAFE (an organization that advances racial, social, and economic justice for Asian Americans and other systematically disadvantaged communities), and CACF (an organization that advocates for equity and opportunity for marginalized APA children and families). Executive chef David Shim will offer a Butcher’s Celebration to commemorate the amazing work of these three non-profit organizations, featuring four cuts of USDA Prime and Japanese A5 Wagyu with caviar service, banchan, and savory stews. Beverage director Victoria James will offer a red and white by the glass, BUT if you want to byob, now is a good reason to show off fun bottles and share it with your table! If you would like to support or purchase tickets, please email [email protected]!

Roll call! Meet Charles Chuck Bradley. He's one of our Day Ones. At Cote, you will find him holding court on the service floor, grilling like a boss and keeping the good vibes flowing. Outside of our family, he's also a trained actor - he once played Peter Pan in a national tour. Ask him the next time he’s table-side and maybe he'll tell you more about it . Chuck opened Cote as a server in 2017 and was promoted to a Manager last year.

Can we get a big hello to Beau? He was recently promoted to Head Bartender at Cote NYC. Raise a glass to him in a true Beau fashion: by sipping on anything with a dabble of green chartreuse.

Raise your chopsticks if you LOVE bacon! And now, meet ours! A classic steakhouse appetizer gets the Cote-spin. C r i s p y house-smoked heritage pork belly, served with pickled jalapeno and spicy yellow mustard a double kick of spice. We source our bacon pork belly from Nagano pork, a delicious breed of piggies from Montreal that was developed over two decades ago by fastidious farmers who wanted to raise some seriously delicious pork. The Japanese-sounding name of this breed was inspired by these farmers’ admiration for the obsessively high standards of Japanese farming practices (think Kobe beef). The result? Top quality animal welfare and flavor! #eduCOTE
