Job Description Cottrell Paper Company is an Essential business with immediate need to hire a Swing Shift Beater Room/ Machine Backtender candidate. We manufacture electrical insulated paper used in medical supplies, transformers, motors and household appliances and are seeking local candidates to join our team. This tower (swing) shift position will encompass all facets of electrical-grade paper manufacturing. No experience needed, we will train.... This position would require Monday- Friday and some Saturdays. Tower swing shifts: this position requires a rotating schedule. Week 1- 7am-3pm; week 2-11pm-7am; week 3- 3pm-11pm Duties include: -Fill beater chests with pulp for processing -Load paper on dryers -Load paper on cores for finishing -Receive raw materials for use in processing paper -maintain clean work space Must be punctual, have an attention to detail and be willing to work on varying tasks throughout the mill. Local candidate is ideal. Must have own transportation to work. Uniforms available. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: Protocols are in place for sanitizing work stations & we sanitize common spaces periodically throughout the day. Masks, hand sanitizer & disinfecting materials are all on-site & are provided to employees to ensure they are protected within the workplace.

This full time experienced mechanic position will be responsible for : -Diagnosing mechanical problems with any machinery failures within the mill -Be able to successfully repair mechanical issues -Assist in the day to day operations of the paper mill, assuring that all machinery is functional -Maintain a clean work space

We recently celebrated the retirement of one of Cottrell Paper Company's most beloved employees- Ron Noles. Ron had been with us for 25 years- and his dedication, work ethic and commitment to Cottrell Paper Company is astounding. Ron could handle just about anything you could throw at him and did so with a smile. His calm, pleasant demeanor along with his skill set made him invaluable. Ron, we wish you well and will miss you greatly!
