We had some very good Togging this weekend. Sunday saw Ross Goldstein and crew put a limit of chunky Tog in the box. Ross took the pool with a healthy 6 pounder. Non stop action all trip in some sporty conditions. Saturday the boys and I were joined by Capt. Thomas Buckley for a day of Togging. We enjoyed an incredible day of weather and fishing. We put our limit in the by 8:30 and did a little catch and release and checked out a few different pieces. Days like this will b...e the ones we think about on those cold winter days. Great day of Togging for Tom Unger, Pete Unger, and Butch. Action on all drops for a limit of tasty Tog and a side of 21 fat Sea Bass and a handful of Scup. This crew always gets it done!

Jay Jansen and crew joined us again today for another day of Togging. Once again we had tons of action with short Tog and the occasional keeper. By days end our limit of Tog made their way into the box for the ride home to Orient. 19 Sea Bass also added to the catch today. Fun day with a great group of guys. Johnny and Matthew got out yesterday with fishing buddies Steve, Alex, and Alex’s Dad. They had quite a day of action down at MTK. They had real good action with Bass and Blues on the jigs putting a limit of slot size Bass in the box and releasing many more to fight another day. They later found the Albies in feeding mode to say the least. They caught and released 35 of these feisty speedsters on light tackle. I have to admit I’m a bit jealous I missed out on that action! Not very often you see that kind of Albie bite! Fall fishing at its best right there! Great job guys!

Jay Jansen and crew put together a nice catch today. We picked through a lot of shorts to get what they needed today. In addition to the Tog they also took 10 nice Sea Bass as well. Strong moon tides had us working with some heavy lead for most of the day. Ended up being a beautiful day after a chilly start this morning.

Very good mixed bag bottom fishing today for Shane and his crew. Boat limit of tasty Biscuits and 50 nice Scup found their way into the box. Then jigged up a bunch of Blues keeping 8 nice one for the table and releasing a bunch more to fight another day. Nice day on the water. Capt. Ron 631-484-7372

Dennis Ferraro and crew had a good day of Togging today. Lots of action all day. Finished out with a limit of healthy Togs and a dozen nice Sea Bass. Ron took the pool with a meaty 6 pounder. Fun day with a a great group of guys! Saturday John Glaessgen and his crew put together a limit of Tog along 10 Sea Bass and a few Porgies. The fall fishing has been very good. Tom and Pete Unger along with John and Doc enjoyed a very productive extended Ocean mixed bag trip today. Started the morning with some very good jigging for Striped Bass and found them to be very cooperative. Put our limit of slot fish in the box in short order and did released a nice bunch of overs safely after a short battle on jigs. Next we targeted Sea Bass, took a little time to find a nice pile of good ones. Once we did it was game on! Put our limit of chunky biscuits in the box along with a basket of Scup. Finished out the day with a few drifts on the Fluke grounds and managed to put 4 nice keepers in the box. Very nice day with some great guys!

Rich Gilbert and crew had a great day of Togging. The crew put their limit of Tog in the box this morning. We then switched gears and made a drop for some Sea Bass. We ended up putting 35 nice biscuits, 6 Scup and 7 nice size blues in the box to cap off the day. Fun day with a great crew of guys.

Some very good action the last couple of trips. Saturday saw Tom Unger, Pete, Rob, and Paul put a limit of nice Sea Bass in the box. Along with a basket of Scup. As well as a nice bunch of 3-5 pound Blues. Sunday was another great day for Nick, and the crew. They put a limit of Sea Bass in the boat to start the morning off while the tide was slow. Hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day weekend! Today the boys and I spent the day on the Fluke grounds. It was a picky morning for us. But like I always say, patience kills the Fluke. When they finally decided it was time to chew we were there waiting to feed them. Nice load of quality Flatties. Nothing better than a day fishing with boys! Sunday the Kellershon family joined us for a mixed bag of fishing. We enjoyed a nice shot of Fluke in the morning putting 6 keepers in ...the box. Then we switched gears to Sea Bass’n and put a limit of healthy biscuits in the box. Great family trip! Sunday evening saw John, Kenny, Matt, and Will bend the rods on Blues and Bass. Non stop action had them busy the entire trip. Saturday we had a cancellation. So Johnny and I decided to just get out and fish. Nice limit of Fluke found their way into the box in the morning. Beautiful start to the day this morning. Ross Goldstein lead todays group for an extended day of Ocean Fluke fishing. Took a lot of bouncing around to put together a catch. Scratched across a lot of good lines today. I just couldn’t get them on the mother load. They caught many Fluke, just not as many made the grade as I would have hoped for. Ended the day with 13 healthy Fluke, and some Sea Bass and Porgies. Ross had top honors today with a beautiful Fluke that tipped the boat scale to just over 6 pounds. Great crew today and they stayed at it all day!

Manny Pinho and his crew of 5 put a hurting on the Scup first thing this morning. The Rainbow Clams from Wego Bait and Tackle Craig Jobes did the trick for us today! After we filled the box with Scup we targeted Sea Bass for their limit of tasty biscuits. We then spent a little time on the Fluke grounds for 11 nice keepers to cap off the cooler. Nice day today for the Unger crew. Started off with Sea Bass and Porgies. Took a ride a bit to the east to the land of plenty and 1 drift was all that was needed to grab what they needed. Then they finished out their day targeting Fluke. They put 10 quality keepers in the box for the ride back to the dock. Nice day of fishing with some great guys. Today’s Ocean Fluke trip lead by Ross Goldstein once again saw a decent catch put together. They fished hard to ice 17 keepers by days end. The crew had to wee...d through many shorts to get the good ones. Once again a pleasure fishing with these guys. Ron, and Morris Jones were on their game once again. Beautiful day to be on the water! Today we fished with David Bodnar, George, and Paul. The early morning was beautiful, we had the end of the Flood tide and a nice drift. They put a few nice keeper Fluke in the box right out of the gate. When the tide dropped out, the bite did for us as well. We covered a lot of ground looking for something to work on. Picked a few more in wind against tide conditions with Dave taking this healthy 6 pounder in lumpy conditions at the end of the day. Ended the day with 7 keepers and a handful of Sea Bass. It was a pleasure fishing with these gentlemen today!
