Quick grips are the name of the game for so many DIY shop projects. We use them all the time at Craftsman Ave, but they really get their moneys worth during Introduction to Woodworking with these little side tables. They're perfect for snugging each lap joint together and allowing the epoxy resin to sit. The silent hero! [photo: @ryanhandt]

It’s a table! It’s a lamp! It’s a phone charger! It's Frankentable! Bring the small table that you made during Introduction to Woodworking back to it's birthplace for some upgrades! You'll begin with a pre-made table, create a copper lamp to solder on top, and incorporate a high-tech phone charger. This hybrid-workshop is only offered once a month, so grab your spot while you can. [photo: @ryanhandt]

During Introduction to Knife Making, we teach students all about the reductive (or stock-removal) technique of knife making. You start with a raw piece of annealed tool steal, which is shaped and polished into your custom design & fit. You use tools including hacksaws, files, sanding blocks, belt sanders, and rotary tools to make your blade & handle. It's as fun (& badass) as it sounds. [photo: @ryanhandt]

You all couldn't get enough of the Stained Glass workshops we've been testing, so we added the Introduction workshop to our regular schedule! Join Kelsie with @soft_shapes as she instructs the classic Tiffany stained glass process - selecting and shaping each glass element and soldering it all together. Each workshop will focus on a different finished product - a suncatcher, a nightlight, or something completely new that Kelsie has dreamt up. No prior experience necessary, link in bio!
