Here at Critter Sitters we are very unique in many aspects of providing dog services to our wonderful Critter Community. I thank my lucky stars everyday for your support throughout the 20 years. Critter Sitters has over 6 acres of fenced in areas for our dogs to romp, roll and run. We have water features such as the pool and pond for the dogs to hone in on their swimming skills. Dogs have the opportunity to be in touch with nature and be organic to each breed of dog. T...ons of fresh air and fun here at The Pad and we keep them moving. To address how the dogs get along so well and how to avoid altercation- heres how we do it. The yards are broken down into different areas to maintain overall peace and harmony in the Pack. The Namaste Zone and the Rough Area is where we take the pack to slow down the play and energy in the Pack. The Ravine and the Pond Yard is where they let the throttle go all out. We use the Pool area in the afternoon and Namaste zone to keep the energy level at an average level to wind the dogs down before they head home and take a siesta and eat dinner. We you a set of commands in the pack such as , ZIP IT, STAND DOWN, TOO MUCH, BACK IT UP, OFF, CHECK IN and SIT. WE use the dogs name which is why it is crucial for all of the staff to know every dog name and the set of commands we use here at the Pad. Once spring is finally here we will begin our Command Series Videos again for everyone to be clear and consistent on how to utilize commands. As for a huge announcement we will be renovating the pool area and adding two more play yards for our Critters to Rock and Roll here at the Critter Pad. WE will be taking limited boarding the weekend of April 26, 27 and 28. We will be excavating and clearing more area and I will be all in on this HUGE Project. So exciting for me I can't sleep well just thinking about it already. Thank you so much for your support and thanks for asking such great questions. Some people say I am a little intense so I am taking it down a notch to help you understand the magic which happens at Critter Sitters. Thank you as always and we all love what we do... Critter

Hough and Pough were anxiously waiting for their momma to finish her meet and greet. I will be traveling from Thursday to Sunday to take on the White Mountains of New Hampshire. It will be my last big push before the snow flies and the holidays roll in for me. Staffing is as follows: Marissa will be doing the over night Thursday and my am pick ups on Friday. Allie will be covering the weekend!!! Friday am Christine and Mike will be working the drop offs! Maley will be doing her pick ups as usual. All the materials for the Pennies for Paws campaign to benefit Helping Hounds Dog Rescue will be dropped off next week. Super duper excited!!
Ugh this weather! Guess who???? It’s Willy the doodle such a hot mess.
I was showing Marissa how to carry a dog if he gets hurt in the mountains. Now Hough gets carried around the play yard like this. True it is the easiest way to carry a dog if out hiking or somewhere and they get injured.
Spread the word!!!
